Madeleine & Tam had both separately completed University and decided to travel before embarking on the next stage of their careers, Madeleine in Law and Tam in Medical Research. A month into their trips they met and quickly altered their original plans to include one another.

Friends and family back home learned snippets of information about the blossoming romance over the months that followed and when news came of their proposal it spread like wild fire! Tam had bought an engagement ring and kept it hidden in an inside pocket of his coat for several weeks before he plucked up the courage to propose to Madeleine on bended knee.

Their travels together were the obvious choice to theme the wedding and their stationery used old fashioned maps of the countries they travelled together throughout from the lining of their pocket style invitation to the place cards, table names and table plan.

Madeleine's bouquet was a cascade of orchids with the marquee displaying large hanging spheres of tropical flowers in stunning reds, pinks and purples.
